I’m Jonny, and I am a multi-award-winning author, filmmaker and photographer.
I mostly work in the brewing and pub industry, and have won numerous awards for my work, including Beer Writer of the Year in 2019 and 2022. Most of that work can be found on YouTube’s Craft Beer Channel, which I cofounded in 2013 and now has over 160,000 subscribers and 13 million views. I’ve published three books – Beer School (Mango), The London Craft Beer Guide (Ebury), A Year in Beer (CAMRA), and The Meaning of Beer (Atlantic). As one of the world’s leading experts in beer I am often on the road, but always available via email for work enquiries or just good conversation.
When not book and Youtube on those projects I take on ad hoc photography and videography jobs (you can enquire about working with me here) as well as short-term digital marketing contracts, using my experience as former Deputy Editor of Jamieoliver.com and Head of Marketing for speciality beer importer, Cave Direct.
I’m based in Hertfordshire, England, but very willing to travel!
